The club officially opened the 2015 / 2016 season at its annual Open Day on Sunday 13th September, 2015.
We were honoured to have Don McIntyre and Tuku Graham, two of our life members who have both been at the club for over 46 years, at this year’s opening.
Club Captain Dave Bennett organised a great fun tournament of triples, where 3 players versed 3 players. Dave’s variation was that all players except the receiver had to start behind the baseline, which added another dimension to the game. Each individual player kept their score which was then added or subtracted to, depending on the random selection of a playing card.
Ross Yeager was declared the overall tournament winner.
