The Silverdale Medical Junior Tennis Singles League provides a great opportunity to put all the training into match play where players compete on a regular basis against opponents of a similar standard, meet new people and improve their overall game in a fun, competitive environment.
League Round 1: 3rd August – 22 August
League Round 2: 31st August – 18th September

- MATCHES: 12 singles matches across 6 weeks, with additional time during the 10 weeks of Term 3 to make up games. Tennis NZ Match Hub points apply to all games.
- FORMAT: Two singles matches each week, one straight after the other, Best of 3 short sets to 4, with a 3rd set super tie breaker. Tie breaker at 4-4 in the sets. Scores to be collated on the day and emailed to [email protected]
- WHO CAN ENTER: Open to all junior tennis club members capable of playing matches, even if you haven’t played matches before, with the competition mixed girls and boys.
- DAY / TIME: Wednesday 4pm – 6pm, Friday 4pm – 6pm and Sunday 8am – 10am and 10am – 12midday. Please indicate days you would be available to play when entering.
- VENUE: After school fixtures – more central locations such as Orewa, Silverdale & Dairy Flat. Weekend fixtures will be at the following tennis clubs; Warkworth, Orewa, Whangaparoa, Dairy Flat, Helensville, Waimauku, Silverdale.
- BOXES: Players placed in boxes of 4, graded by Match Hub ranking points and player age.
- BALLS: Balls will be provided.

- SPOT PRIZES: Includes a tennis racquet, towels and t-shirts.

Please note that if there are not enough entries for certain ages and rankings and/or due to constraints with numbers, days and venues, you will receive a full refund if we are unable to place you into a box.
