Junior Interclub
For juniors 8-18yrs who want to play weekly matches (a single and a double) in a team in the Tennis Northern junior interclub competition which runs from October to March.
Ages as at the 30th April 2024:
- 10s and under mixed teams of four played on Wed 4pm
- 12s and under girls and boys teams played on Sat (usually morning)
- 15s and under girls and boys teams played on Sat (usually afternoons)
- 18s and under girls and boys teams played on Fri 5pm
- Premier teams (based on Match Hub Rankings grading rather than age groups) teams of 2 played on Sundays.
Girls Interclub
INTERCLUB TRAINING
Monday: 6.00 to 7.00pm
PRICE – $160 for Term 4
- 1 interclub training / week – (8 x 60min sessions).
- Free participation in weekly interclub game.
Junior interclub registrations will be closing on Wednesday, 20th September, 2023.
Boys Interclub
INTERCLUB TRAINING
Tuesday: 6.15 to 7.15pm
PRICE – $160 for Term 4
- 1 interclub training / week – (8 x 60min sessions).
- Free participation in weekly interclub game.
Junior interclub registrations will be closing on Wednesday, 20th September, 2023.
- Junior Interclub requires a commitment from team members to be available to play most weeks during the season. If you are not available to play most weeks, then our Hot Shots & Teen Tennis programme will be more suitable.
- Term 4 subscription fee has been set based on a minimum of 8 one hour interclub training sessions during Term 4.
- A “Performance” session for children selected on the Performance Pathway, will be held for interclub players on Thursdays. Our club coaches may offer your child an invitation to attend the Performance session.
- If you are not playing interclub on a particular week, then you are welcome to join the Saturday Matchplay session at 10.45am to 12.00pm, on that Saturday.
- There will be no cancelled sessions. In the event the weather prevents play on court, our club coaches will conduct an indoor session, including technique drills, tactics and video.
- Whangaparaoa Tennis Club is using Enrolmy software to administer and manage junior tennis programmes at the club. To register your children for junior tennis you will initially setup a profile on Enrolmy. Once your profile has been setup, you will easily be able to register your children for all junior tennis at the club, including summer Hots Shots and Teen tennis, school holiday programmes, winter coaching etc. Enrolmy Guide
