The club celebrated the end of 2018 with a Xmas Quiz Night & party on Saturday 15th December.
A great turnout of over 70 club members & partners enjoyed the end of year celebrations at the club.
The competition for the Quiz was close during the night, with the “Simple Minds” team of Malcom Haggerty, Karlene Magill, Paul Varley, Debbie Martin, Mark Battershill, Hilary Gibson & Adrienne Croad, edging out the “Mongrel Mob” in second place and the “Young Uns” taking out third.
Thanks to Sarah Mayo & Veronika Cox for setting up the tables and decorating the club for the evening. Thanks also to Adrienne Croad for organising the extra table, chairs and tv monitor.
Our resident band “Band on the Rum” then entertained the party goers with a great set of classics, keeping the dance floor pumping. Ken McLeod even managed to destroy his drum kit mid-song. Legend!
