Senior Interclub

The Whangaparaoa Tennis Club enters teams in the Tennis Northern Senior Interclub Competition, which is comprised of 25 tennis clubs across the North Shore & Rodney areas

The Tennis Northern senior interclub competition runs from September to April, with a Christmas break from mid-December to mid-January.

Teams are split into grades, playing round robin matches every other week.

Senior Interclub registrations for 2024 / 2025 have closed.

Singles

Mens – Monday or Tuesday @ 6pm
Womens – Wednesday @ 6pm
Play every other week (once a fortnight)
Team of 4
Play 1 singles match and 1 doubles match
Singles matches – Best of three 7 point tiebreak sets.
Doubles matches – Best of two 7 point tiebreak sets with a ten point 3rd set super tiebreak if required.

Individual competitions -entered by players themselves.

Singles

Competition 1: starts 14th October 2024.
Competition 2: starts February 2025.
Enter individually.
One singles match – best of three tie-breaker sets.
Draw managed by TN, matches organised by players.
Results recorded online, the same as summer interclub matches.
