This years Whangaparaoa Tennis Club Mixed Doubles Club Champs was held on the 24th November and was a resounding success thanks to our amazing club members and the weather!
We had an amazing 18 pairings this year and thanks to Manly Vets Tennis Club who loaned us their courts, we were able to make sure each pairing got to play at least 3 matches. The winners of the Open draw were Adrienne Croad and Nathan Dudley who had a tight battle against Ani Wood and Mark Tizard but pipped them at the post in a super tie-breaker in the third set. The Plate draw was won by Paige Constantin and Euan Mcainsh who also had a battle against Sophie and Hamish Harper.
Once again an amazing spread was provided by the entrants and a big thank you to all the Committee members who ran the day between them, especially Mark Battershill who did an amazing job.
